The Prototyping Workshop at the Danish Technological Institute

The Inventor Advisory Service at the Danish Technological Institute has its own prototyping workshop, which you as an inventor can visit by appointment and build a prototype of your idea or invention. You are responsible for constructing and designing your prototype, but the workshop will be staffed during your scheduled visit. You can ask advice from the staff on topics such as prototype development and use of the machines in the workshop. Please be aware, that the workshop facilities are not well-suited for 0-series or other forms of mass production of your idea or invention.

The prototyping workshop is available to all persons who are currently part of an active advisory case with the Inventor Advisory Service. That means, that in order to gain access to the prototyping workshop, you must make an appointment to visit with your assigned Inventor Advisor. If you do not yet have an assigned advisor and do not have an active case with the IAS, then you can send us your idea using this form.

The Prototyping Workshop is situated at the The Danish Technological Institute, Gregersensvej 1F, 2630 Taastrup. You can see a list of the machines available in the workshop here (please note, that the file is in Danish).
